There’s no football team in Oregon’s Class 5A that has made a bigger statement over the past two weeks than Summit.
The Storm have officially become the overwhelming favorite in the state after a win against Wilsonville last week followed by a 21-14 victory against Intermountain Conference rival Mountain View on Friday night at Summit High School.
Each of the last three Class 5A state championship games has included either Summit or Mountain View. The Storm won the state title in 2022 and Mountain View was the state runner-up in both 2023 and 2024 (Wilsonville won both of those games).
