Former West Coast Eagles player Mitch Brown has posted a cheeky video after publicly coming out as bisexual last month, becoming the AFL’s first male player to do so.

Brown’s coming out was hailed as a powerful moment in Australian sport, given the AFL’s ongoing struggles with addressing homophobia within its ranks.

Brown, who played 94 AFL games for the Eagles between 2007 and 2016, shared his sexuality during an interview with The Daily Aus .

“I played in the AFL for 10 years for the West Coast Eagles and I’m a bisexual man,” he said.
