Pedestrian struck and killed by LAPD vehicle in Highland Park

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Los Angeles Police Department vehicle in Highland Park Friday night.

The male pedestrian was near Figueroa Street and Woodside Drive area when he was struck by an LAPD car shortly before 7:30 p.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and was believed to be between 30-35 years old, the L.A. Times reported.
