FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Friday was day one of the 63rd Fresno Greek Fest, and folks of all backgrounds came together to celebrate Greek culture through food, music, and more.

There’s a famous Greek concept, ‘Kefi’, or the spirit of hay, passion for life, fun, and happiness.

“It is absolutely amazing for people to witness and experience the whole Greek culture. There's not a Greek restaurant in the Central Valley,” Greek Fest attendee Athena Matsikas said.

Folks were at the festival expressing their ‘Kefi’ through dance, music, and good food.

“I love the lamb, I love the chicken,” Matsikas said.
