SPOKANE, Wash. – Soulful Soups is celebrating its grand reopening in a new location under new ownership after a two-month closure.

The previous owner closed the restaurant due to frustrations with crime happening in front of the business and financial stress. Now, the new owners are eager to continue serving their popular dishes and enhance community engagement.

Owner Aaron Earle shared his vision for the restaurant's future.

"It's not going to be different but just new and improved I guess, we're going to be doing a lot more events such as live music, we're gonna do bingo nights, we're going to try and have open mic nights and kinda have everybody in here. We're going to do poetry slams and those kind of things to get anyone from any walk of life in here," Earle said.
