The Golden State Warriors have yet to finalize a contract with restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga. According to recent reports, Kuminga may end up accepting the team’s qualifying offer, which would set him up for unrestricted free agency down the road.

Meanwhile, rival teams are circling. Both the Phoenix Suns and the Sacramento Kings have shown serious interest in Kuminga’s future.

During his appearance on ESPN’s The Hoop Collective podcast, Kuminga’s agent, Aaron Turner, shed light on the conversations that have taken place. He explained that mysterious teams are quietly preparing for the chance to land Kuminga.
