The Nico Raskin saga has been resolved at last according to Russell Martin – which gives the boss the type of headache he wants ahead of his side's Premier Sports Cup quarter-final. ‌

A place at Hampden is at stake as Rangers and Hibs battle it out for a place in the last four and, for Martin , it's a game he simply can't afford to lose. ‌

Incredibly he's still yet to pick up a domestic victory with just a 25 per cent win rate in all competitions and fans, who have almost unanimously turned on the Englishman, look set to vote with their feet when Hibs come to town this evening. ‌

It's his job to win them back and ending the damaging Raskin saga by restoring him to the starting XI would be a start in the eyes of punters.
