The uncertain and turbulent security situation in West Asia took an interesting turn when Saudi Arabia signed a Mutual Defence Agreement with Pakistan on 17th September. The agreement comes close on the heels of an Israeli missile attack into Qatar on 9th September, targeting senior Hamas leadership.
