Kansas State football has this Week 4 off after four consecutive games to start the 2025 college football season.

An open date for the Wildcats comes at an ideal time, as the team needs to recover amid a two-game losing streak and a poor start to the season.

K-State began its season with a Week 0 game on August 23 in Dublin, Ireland, where it lost to Iowa State . Since then, the "Ireland Curse" has stuck with it , requiring a game-winning drive to beat FCS North Dakota, but then losing to Army and Arizona.

The Wildcats return to the gridiron on Saturday, Sept. 27, when they host UCF at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
