James Franklin logged some serious mileage on Sept. 19.

According to flightaware.com, a helicopter carrying Penn State’s head football coach and Nittany Lions defensive line coach Deion Barnes made 10 stops in three states, beginning at 8:53 a.m. and finishing at 9:32 p.m.

Three of those stops came at Delaware high schools. Franklin and Barnes visited Appoquinimink and Caravel in the morning, before continuing to several stops in New Jersey. Then, just after 7 p.m., the coaches arrived back at Appoquinimink to watch the first half of the Jaguars’ game against Howard.
