Capital football coach Jon Carpenter wanted to see how the Cougars responded following their bye week.

A date with the St. Albans Red Dragons proved as the measuring stick on Friday night at University of Charleston Stadium at Laidley Field.

The Cougars showed no bye-week lulls, taking a 35-0 halftime lead en route to a 48-0 victory.

Capital totaled 385 yards of offense, including 225 on the ground, with 195 coming from junior running back David Robinson Jr.
