Voters are about to choose from a pool of 26 candidates running in Monday’s Ward 8 byelection — the largest slate of council hopefuls in a ward contest in the city’s history.
To help electors decide who should take over the seat vacated by now-MP John-Paul Danko, The Spectator asked the candidates to fill out a questionnaire. All but three provided responses.
The byelection, which is expected to cost $200,000, will see the successful candidate make their debut at the Oct. 8 council meeting.
