For Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart , it was love at first spill.

An accidental spill, for the record.

"She spilled wine on me, or I spilled wine on her or something, and that sort of sealed the deal," Ford told the New York Times in 2024 , mopping up a rumor that the Ally McBeal actress dumped her drink on him at the 2002 Golden Globes, after the actor was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for career achievement.

Though it was apparently her beverage, as remembered by Flockhart, who explained that the Indiana Jones icon was holding his statue upside down, so she joked, "'Oh, what’s that? A place for me to put my red wine?'"

Happily, it did not get on her pink Oscar de la Renta gown. Ford wasn't so lucky, but the night was a raging success in other ways.
