NEW YORK — In August, East Fairmont Middle School STEAM Center director Marge Suder was named Educator of the Year by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce. Now, she has earned another recognition for her work bringing science and technology to life for students.
Voya Financial, which provides retirement plans for educators, awarded Suder with a $2,000 grant as part of the company’s 2025 Unsung Heroes awards competition. Suder is the only winner in the state of West Virginia and is one of only 50 winning submissions to receive the award to help fund and bring her program to life. kAm$6=64E65 7C@> E96 9F?5C65D @7 2AA=:42E:@?D '@J2 C646:G65 7C@> E9C@F89@FE E96 &?:E65 $E2E6D[ $F56C H:== ?@H 4@>A6E6 H:E9 @E96C 7:?2=:DED 7@C @?6 @7 E96 E@A E9C66 AC:K6D — 2? 255:E:@?2= Sd[___ 7@C E9:C5 A=246[
