A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle late Friday night. It happened near South 29th and Douglas Street around 10 p.m.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with CPR in progress. Right now, their condition remains critical.

We have not learned yet if the driver will face charges as Omaha police continue their investigation.
