TRAVERSE CITY — Leadership roles and committee assignments over the next year for the city’s Downtown Development Authority Board were approved at Friday’s organizational meeting.
The board unanimously re-elected Ed Slosky as the board chair. Slosky has served as chair since February when former Chairman Scott Hardy resigned, citing what he termed a “fractured relationship” between the DDA and the City Commission. Slosky is a retired software engineer and programmer who serves as a resident member of the DDA service district downtown. He was elected as vice-chair at the board’s organizational meeting a year ago, and has served on the DDA Board since 2023.
