Slow Horses has now been on the air for five seasons — it’s one of THE best things on TV right now.

So how come no one appears to be watching it?

Hopefully that’s all about to change: FINALLY it appears this great espionage drama, starring Gary Oldman as disillusioned MI5 spy Jackson Lamb, is getting the props it deserves, scoring five Emmy award nominations — and one win — at last week’s event.

Will Smith (no, not THAT Will Smith, this one’s a writer) is behind this series, and he’s also written for The Thick Of It and Veep, which speaks volumes — this series is every bit their equal. And we’re not sure how he manages to do it, but each subsequent season, based on one of the Slow Horses books by Mick Herron, manages to up the stakes a
