A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting at a Birmingham nightclub.

The shooting took place at Mango nightclub at around 3am today (September 20), injuring four people including a man critically.

In an update released this morning, West Midlands Police said a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at around 9.30am.

Meanwhile, the force also revealed that three suspects, aged in their 20s and 30s, who were arrested from a car on the M6 in Warwickshire, shortly after the shooting, were female.
