Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones (17) warms up prior to the game against the Denver Broncos at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Indianapolis Colts (2-0) and the Tennessee Titans (0-2) meet Sunday in Week 3 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's NFL odds around the Colts vs. Titans odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.

The Colts kept their perfect record alive in Week 2, edging out the Denver Broncos 29-28 in a thriller. Indianapolis cashed outright as a 1-point home underdog, with the Over (43) also hitting. QB Daniel Jones delivered another steady outing, throwing for 316 yards with both a passing and rushing TD. The real difference-maker was RB Jonathan Taylor, who exploded for 215 total yards — 165 on the ground and 50 through the air — while adding a receiving score.

The Titans remain winless after falling 33-19 to the LA Rams in Week 2, failing to cover as 5.5-point home underdogs while the Over (41) cashed. Rookie QB Cam Ward showed flashes, finishing 19-for-33 with 175 yards, a TD, and a costly fumble. He did find rookie WR Elic Ayomanor for his first career TD as part of a 56-yard afternoon. The bigger issue was the defense, which was gashed for 439 total yards by LA.

Colts at Titans picks and predictions

Prediction

Colts 31, Titans 17

Moneyline

PASS.

I like the Colts (-220) to remain undefeated, but those odds don't appeal to me. I'll take my wager to the spread.

Against the spread

BET COLTS -4.5 (-110).

I like the Colts to cover −4.5 against the Titans this week. Jones has looked comfortable running this offense, spreading the ball around and connecting with playmakers like rookie TE Tyler Warren. Add in Taylor heating up in the backfield, and Indy suddenly has the balance to control the tempo and wear down defenses.

On the other side, Tennessee is still figuring things out with Ward. He’s got talent, but the Titans’ offensive line has been shaky, and penalties keep killing drives. That’s trouble against a Colts defense that just got healthier and is capable of forcing mistakes.

The Colts have had the upper hand in this rivalry lately, and with their run game clicking and defense in good shape, I see them building a cushion and pulling away. Winning by more than a field goal feels very doable here — I’m riding with Indy to cover.

Over/Under

BET OVER 43.5 (-110).

The Colts are clicking on offense right now. Jones is sharp, with strong completion numbers and zero interceptions so far, and Taylor is getting plenty of breathing room against a Titans run defense that’s been gashed in early games. That creates a recipe for points.

Meanwhile, the Titans won’t roll over — Ward has shown flashes, and Tennessee tends to stay competitive. While they’re still finding consistency, they’ll push back enough to force Indianapolis to keep scoring rather than easing up.

Add it up: The Colts average over 30 points per game, their defense has been solid but not impenetrable, and the Titans have enough offensive weapons to notch some points themselves. Given those dynamics, the flow of this game looks like it’ll exceed this total.
