A man has been taken to hospital following a shooting outside Wembley Stadium this morning (Sunday, September 21). He was found on Atlantic Crescent at around 5.30am, prompting a large emergency response.

He was later taken to a major trauma centre in an unknown condition. The severity of his injuries has not yet been confirmed.

Photos taken earlier today show a cordon outside the Access Self Storage and entrance to Wembley Park . Police remain at the scene, with the adjacent South Way road blocked off while enquiries are carried out.

Transport for London (TfL) has put bus routes 440 on diversion as a result.

The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for more information.
