Bound together by blood and storytelling, starting at an early age, siblings Sorcha and Aron Hegarty immersed themselves in the sometimes dark and forbidding myths and tales of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
For Sorcha Hegarty, at least in the beginning, it was a way to keep her younger brother entertained on long journeys, but as time went on, the two became more and more fascinated by the history behind the legends, starting both a podcast and Candlelit Tales, a company offering performances, classes and online workshops that delve deeply into such subjects as the ancient traditions of the Celtic Wheel of the Year.
