SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Today is the last day of summer, and we will still be dealing with summer-like weather! Highs today reach back into the lower 90s, but some areas may only warm up to the upper 80s. This will be due to cloud cover and rain chances by this afternoon!

For the first couple of days of fall (Monday and Tuesday), summer-like conditions still remain around the ArkLaTex with highs in the 80s/90s and storms possible in the afternoon. These possible storms pose a Level 1/5 - Marginal Risk for severe weather for parts of the region, mainly highlighting the threat for damaging winds.
