Sudbury MP Viviane Lapointe has announced federal funding of $552,000 to support the City of Greater Sudbury’s Veterans Homelessness Program, a new initiative aimed at helping veterans who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
The City is partnering with the Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury to deliver comprehensive, client-centered support to local veterans. The program will focus on securing and maintaining stable housing, while offering culturally appropriate services — including tailored supports for Indigenous veterans.
