But Berger’s story is anything but typical.
The 33-year-old from Harmony Township is beginning his fifth season in sanctioned play. Up to this point, he’s seen his average level off at 196 over the past couple seasons at Bel-Pike.
Originally, he was throwing hand-me-down equipment. But a month ago, he decided it was time to get his own ball drilled.
