Demon Slayer is officially making history.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle , the first of three theatrical movies planned for the series, has stayed at No. 1 at the U.S. box office for a second week, bringing in an additional $16 million.

This is the first time ever for an anime film, per The Wrap .

The movie is now the highest grossing anime film in American history at $104 million so far. It’s also Sony’s highest grossing film of the year!
