The Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames open up their preseason schedule with a pair of split-squad games tonight, but they won’t be broadcast on TV.
With fans clamouring to watch their teams begin a new season, both the Oilers and Flames will battle each other with two separate games going on at the same time. Those scrolling through their TV guide won’t find much, however, as the games will be streamed online.
The game taking place in Calgary will be available to stream for free on the Flames website. Due to broadcast restrictions, this game will only be available to viewers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
