GLENDALE, Ariz. — A person is in the hospital on life support after a crash in Glendale on Sunday morning, according to authorities.
The Glendale Police Department said the head-on collision happened near 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
A witness reported to police that a car was driving westbound when it crossed into the opposite lane and hit a work van.
Crews with the Glendale Fire Department had to extricate a driver from the crash. That driver was said to be in critical condition.
The second driver was also injured in the crash. An update on their condition is not available.
The area where the crash happened is closed to traffic.
