DETROIT, MI – An argument turned violent when a man stabbed a woman with a knife multiple times, police said.
A 40-year-old Farmington Hills man was arrested Saturday, Sept. 20, and lodged at the Detroit Detention Center in connection to the alleged attack, according to Michigan State Police.
The domestic assault unfolded around 11 p.m. on north M-10 and West Grand Boulevard.
Police said the Farmington Hills man was driving when he and a 44-year-old Orchard Lake woman had an argument. At some point, the woman threw a drink and a liquor bottle at the man, police said.
The man responded by using a knife and stabbing the woman multiple times.
The woman was taken to an area hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation.
