A driver in Troutdale died Saturday night after they hit a parked car, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release .

The driver was headed southbound on Southeast Troutdale Road when they hit a car parked in a driveway with people inside around 8 p.m., the agency said.

The people inside the parked care were not injured, the sheriff’s office said, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash closed parts of Southeast Troutdale Road on Saturday evening.
