Generative AI is already widely used in the movie business, and will likely continue to become an even bigger part of productions in the near future. Much of the time (at least so far), the effect is pretty subtle, using it for an effects shot here or a bit of foreign language tweaking there, but it's not unreasonable to imagine it may start popping up in much more overt ways.
