GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) - Park rangers in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are searching for a missing man.
According to a spokesperson for the park, 21-year-old Ryan Lakes was last seen in Nashville on Thursday, and his car was found in the park on Saturday.
Lakes is described is a white male who is 5′5″ tall and 130 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing dark colored gym shorts, a dark shirt, brown tennis shoes and a black backpack.
Park officials said several organizations are helping the National Park Service search for Lakes in the Big Creek area of the park.
Anyone who has seen Lakes or has any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to click here , call the NPS tip line at 888-653-0009, send an email or call 911.
