If you were one of the poor souls that took Rams +3.5 on Sunday, I am so sorry.
The Philadelphia Eagles stunned the Los Angeles Rams in their Week 3 matchup after clinching victory in dramatic fashion. With the Rams looking to ice the game with a 44-yard field goal as time was expiring in the fourth quarter, Jordan Davis blocked Joshua Karty's kick and returned it for a touchdown. It was an absurd way to win the game for the Eagles, but if you put money down on the Rams you are probably still feeling absolutely sick.
If the Rams had made the field goal and won the game, the score would have ended 29-27 for Los Angeles. Instead, the Eagles blocked the ball and Davis scored to make it 33-26.
The result? The Eagles covered the -3.5 and anyone holding a Rams +3.5 bet no doubt couldn't believe their bad luck.
Definitely the worst bad beat we've had this season and perhaps the most devastating one we'll have all year. Here's how NFL fans reacted to the agonizing Eagles-Rams bad beat.
