Tropical Storm Gabrielle is now a hurricane, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Hurricane Gabrielle is expected to strengthen to a Category 2 storm by Monday. Two more developments are also actively being monitored in the Atlantic, NHC says.

Reports from NOAA and Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicate that maximum sustained winds are near 75 mph.
