GLENDALE, AZ — Mourners, including President Donald Trump, are honoring the life of prominent conservative activist Charlie Kirk at a memorial service in Glendale on Sunday.

Elected officials, faith leaders, Kirk's colleagues, and his loved ones addressed the crowd at State Farm Stadium, with thousands of supporters holding up signs and chanting "USA." The crowd cheered former Kirk Chief of Staff Mikey McCoy as he quoted theologian and philosopher Søren Kierkegaard: "The tyrant dies and his rule is over. The martyr dies, and his rule has just begun."
