The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are searching for a woman wanted for second-degree murder in connection with a homicide in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Authorities believe Victoria Sheila Elizabeth Hilliard, 29, may be in the Toronto area. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Hilliard faces charges related to the death of 42-year-old Mark O’Keefe, whose body was discovered on December 12, 2023. Police responded to a report of a suspicious death near Parsons Access Road, close to the Highway 63 turnoff. Shortly after, officers received another call about a vehicle fire on Tower Road, which they suspect may be linked to the case.
Hilliard is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 139 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair that she frequently changes. She has multiple tattoos, including a mermaid on her left wrist, butterflies on her left forearm, and a triple moon on her upper left forearm.
The RCMP are urging the public to assist in locating Hilliard but advise against approaching her. Instead, anyone who sees her is encouraged to contact police immediately.
