The Toronto Blue Jays are postseason-bound, and they celebrated in fashion.

Sunday afternoon’s 8-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals officially clinched a playoff spot for the Toronto Blue Jays. This came after a four-game losing streak that delayed the clinch.

However, thanks to some great innings by Trey Yesavage , Eric Lauer, and Jeff Hoffman, the Blue Jays will play postseason ball once again. This also marked the 90th victory of the season for the Blue Jays, making Toronto the first team in the American League to hit that plateau this season.

The Jays celebrated the clinch in the visiting team’s clubhouse after the game with champagne and goggles being brought out.

“This is one to celebrate,” Blue Jays manager John Schneider said before several champagne bottles were popped.
