Vice President JD Vance delivered an emotional tribute to Charlie Kirk on Sunday, telling tens of thousands gathered inside State Farm Stadium that the slain conservative activist should be remembered not only as a political force but as a Christian martyr.

“They try to silence our dear friend, Charlie Kirk, and today, tonight, we speak with Charlie and for Charlie louder than ever,” Vance said, drawing cheers from the crowd. “The evil murderer who took Charlie from us expected us to have a funeral today, and instead, my friends, we have had a revival.”
