President Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk shook hands as they sat next to each other at Charlie Kirk’s memorial, months after the two publicly broke up their alliance.

Musk ended his alliance with Trump in June when he slammed the president’s spending and tax package as a “disgusting abomination,” and also said in a deleted X post that the president is in the Epstein files . Three months later, however, the two were spotted sitting next to each other during a memorial for Kirk, who was assassinated while speaking at a college event in Utah on Sept. 10.
