A 53-year-old man died after a vehicle hit him while he was riding his bicycle and the driver drove away in Chino on Saturday, Sept. 20, police said.

Officers responded at 6:35 p.m. to the 5200 block of Eucalyptus Avenue, near Central Avenue and south of Edison Avenue, where they found a cyclist who was struck by a vehicle, according to the Chino Police Department.

Micah Pan of Chino Hills was transported to a hospital, where he died.

Investigators found the vehicle and arrested Jazmine Carreto, 28, of Chino on suspicion of hit-and-run with injury, police said.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
