Robert Litscher and Jaden Rattay connected on a 96-yard touchdown pass with 51 seconds remaining as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps stunned George Fox University for a 28-21 nonconference victory Saturday at Stoffer Family Stadium in Newburg, Ore.

George Fox (0-3) took a 21-20 lead when JJ Leman tossed a 40-yard touchdown pass with 1:43 left on the clock.

CMS (2-0) turned the ball over on downs on the ensuing possession, but the Stags got another chance when Xzavier Sablan recovered a fumble at CMS 4 with 1:11 remaining.

Litscher passed for 264 yards and three touchdowns, and Noah Macapulay had two touchdown catches for CMS.

Leman passed for 167 yards and added 55 yards and two scores on the ground to lead George Fox. Jacob Erickson had five sacks for the Bruins.
