FOXBOROUGH — Aaron Rodgers continued to climb the NFL’s record books in Sunday’s win over the Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
The 41-year-old Steelers quarterback passed Philip Rivers (63,440) for the sixth-most passing yards in NFL history, and moved into sole possession of fourth all-time for touchdown passes, breaking a tie with Brett Favre (508). Rodgers finished the day with 64,538 passing yards and 510 touchdown tosses.
After Pittsburgh’s 21-14 victory, Rodgers was asked where passing Rivers ranked on his list of accomplishments.
