A police officer fired at an allegedly stolen car driven by a teenage boy during a high-speed pursuit as a 14-year-old girl sat in the passenger seat.
The dramatic chase through Sydney's western suburbs came to a head when officers fired a gun and a Taser at the car before it allegedly rammed multiple vehicles, including three police cars, on September 20.
The 17-year-old male driver and his 14-year-old female passenger have been arrested and their cases are before the Children's Court.
Highway Patrol attempted to stop the car, which was believed to be stolen, on Reservoir Road in Blacktown at 9.15pm.
A pursuit began when the car failed to stop, police said.
