MARLIN, Texas — HB 3000 has officially been signed into law, and Falls County leaders are celebrating the long-awaited funding boost that will expand emergency services and improve response times in rural communities.

House Bill 3000 has been signed into law, bringing new funding for rural emergency services.

Falls County leaders, including ESD 1 President Bill Range, pushed for the bill’s passage.

The funding aims to improve ambulance response times and emergency care in rural areas.
