Game 1 of the WNBA semifinal series between the Lynx and Mercury went to the No. 1 seed as Minnesota rallied en route to an 82-69 win over Phoenix Sunday afternoon at Target Center in Minneapolis.

Minnesota, fresh off a sweep of Golden State in the first round, trailed by seven points at the half only to tie the game after three quarters and then blow away Phoenix 23-10 in the fourth quarter.

Courtney Williams was the star of stars as all three Lynx All-Stars, including Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride, had big games.

Williams finished with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals. She’s only the fifth player in league history with at least 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals in a playoff game.
