LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A man was hospitalized after a shooting early Saturday morning in a Lexington neighborhood.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were called to a residence on Mount Rushmore Way around 2:15 a.m. for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lexington Police Department or submit an anonymous tip to Bluegrass Crime Stoppers.
