President Trump announced that he will be awarding Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom. "I will soon award Charlie the nation's highest civilian of honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom...we will do the ceremony at our beautiful White House, in a very safe Washington DC, a place that Charlie truly revered." Trump said to the more than 200,000 mourners gathered for the memorial service.
