An Aims Community College Aviation Professor will be inducted into the Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame next month for his decades of contributions to flight safety, education and community service.
Professor William Standerfer is one of three who will be honored Oct. 18, according to an Aims news release. Captain Willie L. Daniels will also be inducted, and Mark Milliken is set to receive a Special Recognition Award.
“Flying has been part of my life for 55 years,” Standerfer said in a news release. “I’ve been fortunate to teach and share my passion with so many students here at Aims and through community service. Being recognized in the Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame is truly an honor.”
