Fire marshal's office investigates Windham house fire

WINDHAM, Maine — The state fire marshal's office is investigating a house fire in Windham.

The Windham Fire Department was called to a fire at 33 Highland Cliff Road around 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.

No one was injured in the fire.

The home sustained damage in the rear portion of the structure, according to the department.

The Windham Fire Department called investigators with the fire marshal's office to assist at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
