Western Bulldogs defender Buku Khamis has requested a trade to Carlton.
The 25-year-old conducted his exit meeting hours after being involved in the club’s VFL premiership celebrations on Sunday alongside the likes of AFL teammates Marcus Bontempelli, Sam Darcy and more.
Khamis has played 31 games over the past two seasons but was subbed in or out of his last three appearances this year before dropping out of the team in July.
He played six games for the Dogs’ VFL side before being forced to watch the finals from the sidelines.
Khamis remains contracted for 2026, forcing the Blues to come to the table with an offer to satisfy the Dogs.
He will hope to fill the void left by Jack Silvagni, who was chased by the Bulldogs before opting to join St Kilda. Loading Tweet
