After five months on the market, a historic Gardner mansion known to many as one of the most haunted locations in Massachusetts finally has new owners.

The S.K. Pierce Haunted Victorian Mansion at 4 West Broadway sold for $1 million on Friday, The Gardner News reported . The three-story, 21-room home, which was built for and named after a wealthy local furniture manufacturer, was ultimately purchased for $200,000 below asking price .

The S.K. Pierce Mansion now has four co-owners “with strong ties to the city of Gardner,” according to a post on the historic home’s Facebook page . These include John Godino, Rob Gilman and Rhonda and David Bettez.

Gilman — a Gardner native and resident — runs a real estate and property management company together
